From Cairo to Cape Town, the participants travel <strong>12,000 km<\/strong> !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tour of Africa is above all a journey through a <strong>stunning continent<\/strong>. Far from a tourist visit, this race counts <strong>94 steps<\/strong> which require no less than <strong>4 months<\/strong> endurance to the runners. It is not about setting a record, the main objective, for the most resistant, is to finish the tour! However, it is possible to participate in only part of the race if you don't have 4 months to spare or the form of Christopher Froome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond the<strong> accumulated fatigue<\/strong>participants must deal with the <strong>climatic conditions<\/strong> capricious and to a <strong>wildlife<\/strong> and a <strong>flora<\/strong> which can be dangerous. During such an adventure, recovery, along with good nutrition and regular hydration, is a key issue that should not be overlooked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The organisers of the Tour are not immune to isolated incidents related to the<strong>political instability<\/strong> of the continent. For example, in 2003 the race was forced to avoid Kenya for the safety of the runners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a long journey full of unexpected encounters, the runners know that they have experienced the<strong>lifetime experience<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Swikly, accompanies outdoor activity providers in their daily challenges to secure their bookings.
